The Center of History and Public Policy (CHPP) was created in January 2021. The inception of the CHPP was born out of the necessity to review pending public policy through the prism of history. I have worked in the public sector for state and federal government for over 30 years. My primary occupation was in law enforcement. My purpose is to make readers aware of history and public policy and how we can continue to improve and make a better life for all citizens. My love of history, since childhood, and public policy, is the driving force behind this blog.
As history often says, “Don’t make me repeat myself.”
